Position Summary:
The Product Support Analyst will be responsible for the review of subsidiary product requests through the GMS ERP system. This includes analyzing requests to ensure they are in compliance with GMS standards and that these standards are maintained within the data catalog. This support role will work with subsidiary representatives to update necessary fields and ensure established SLA's are met. This position can be remote, preferably in the PST, MST, or CST time zone.
Duties & Responsibilities:
* Review product requests to ensure compliance with GMS data standards.
* Consistently meet SLAs to ensure there is no interruption to business operations.
* Perform necessary actions within GMS ERP system to assist subsidiary companies in conforming to GMS product standards.
* Assist subsidiary companies in the creation, updating and maintaining of product data.
* Assist in cleansing data records that do not comply with established standards to ensure quality of master data.
* Participate in M&A activities to ensure master data standards are upheld in the integration process for specified domain.
* Communicate and work with subsidiary companies and vendors to collect and store vendor product information.
* Assist in the establishment of a central library of product offerings across GMS.
* Analyze and edit large existing datasets to conform to GMS data standards using Excel.
* Provide operational support and for subsidiary companies as needed.
Basic Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree in business analysis, computer science, industrial engineering, business management or equivalent experience
* Prior experience with Microsoft Excel
* Prior experience with SQL a plus
* Prior experience with ERP systems a plus
* Prior experience in building materials distribution a plus
* Microsoft Power BI a plus

Physical Requirements:
* Must be able to remain in a stationary position in an office environment 70% of the time.
* Will occasionally move about inside the office to access files, office machinery, etc.
