Position Summary
Murray's Cheese is seeking an enthusiastic, food loving, and experienced Product Support Specialist for our Merchandising and Supply Chain Departments. As an Support Specialist for these departments, you have a top-notch sense of urgency and strong attention to detail. You thrive on streamlining communication, creating structure, and planning, always keeping a confidential awareness to your work. You will assist with compiling information for reporting, communications with other departments, vendor paperwork and invoices and other departmental administrative duties, inter-departmental duties and projects as assigned.
The Product Support Specialist is comfortable working on a computer and has basic fluency with Excel. You keep yourself organized and are always professional and courteous when interacting with others.
This role is currently hybrid and will require two days per week of on-site work (at any of our NYC locations) based on management direction and the needs of the business.

What You Do
Supply Chain Support
* Manage upload and report data for retail signage
* Apply price changes and uploads for all channels
* Manage CSV uploads, including item record updates, weekly purchase orders and others as business needs permit.
* Review and resolving invoice discrepancies
* Source replacement product based on direction from purchasing & Merchandising.
* Order placement for lower volume vendors
* Purchase order follow up
* Transportation Coordination
* Manage information input into scale system
Merchandising Support
* Provides product information to Marketing for creation of brand assets. (i.e., product descriptions)
* Assist with product planning and changes for the department
* Report on new item launches and feature sales
Support for Both
* Manage new item process: Setting up in system (NetSuite), receiving, distributing and communicating.
* Oversees vendor management- including food safety onboarding, communication, donation requests, and follow-up
* Oversees all sample coordination- sample requests, receiving of product, and sample tastings
* Internal communication point person for both departments
* Maintaining Food Safety compliance for new items, renewals and follow up
What We Need From You
* 2+ years of experience providing admin support in some capacity
* Ability to work well with all levels of management and staff as well as outside clients
* Impeccable sense of urgency and organization
* Proficient in Excel and other Office Suite products
* Strong analytical skills
* Food enthusiast a plus!
* Understanding of set or industry a plus!
* Experience working with NetSuite or other ERP systems HIGHLY PREFERRED
