POSITION SUMMARY We are currently seeking a Product Support Technician whose primary responsibility is to provide technical support in the sustainment of products upon completion of development through the life cycle of the test equipment. This includes troubleshooting and addressing issues with test sets being serviced, supporting users of equipment, as well as calibration facilities such as Army TMDE. Additionally, the position will support ULTRAX production activities in the resolution of non-conformances in the manufacturing process. This will require recognizing unexpected outcomes and responding appropriately through troubleshooting and data collection to assist in the development of permanent solutions. This position will involve hands on electronics troubleshooting and repair activities, working with customers via phone, ULTRAX product engineering, and production personnel. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: •Evaluate electrical test sets to determine condition •Troubleshoot test set to determine root cause of specific failures •Execute repair actions to subassemblies, circuit cards, and wire harnesses •Guide customers on use of product and resolve issues via phone and email communications using fundamental troubleshooting techniques •Limited travel potentially to customer locations to provide technical support •Collect detailed information regarding product performance •Interact with engineering and business development to improve test solutions •Provide instruction to those supporting repair activities •Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision and manage multiple tasks •Flexible work schedule to respond to customer needs accordingly •Make entry into various databases documenting activities and findings •Other duties as assigned Requirements EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE: •Associates degree in electronics engineering or equivalent such as military training •3 years electronics repair experience including circuit cards and wire harness •Troubleshooting experience with electrical circuits and designs •Technical field support experience preferred •Proficient with Microsoft Office products •Exposure to automated test equipment All applicants must be able to complete pre-employment onboarding requirements (if selected) which may include any/all of the following: criminal/civil background check, drug screen, and motor vehicle records search, in compliance with any applicable laws and regulations.
