Job Description:
Verify and validate engineering products across a wide range of customer requirements, a variety of applications, and a variety of environments. Plan, track, and evaluate results from functional tests to assess product risk and performance. Utilize results from tests to drive quality decisions and proactively resolve product issues before the product reaches the customer. Create, manage, improve and apply processes such as technical requirements, iDFMEA, Engineering Standard Work (ESW), DVP&R optimization test standards, and problem solving and tools including Integrity, Microsoft Power BI, and McParts required to support the processes and enable high quality decision making. Coordinate the development of design verification and system validation plans from a variety of inputs to identify failure modes while managing risk and relative priority. Evaluate analytical and experimental test results following engineering principles to verify products meet internal technical requirements and to validate that design solutions meet customer needs. Product recommendations with technical documentation to support product related decisions. Solve product issues using a process that protects the customer, determine the assignable cause, implement data-based solutions, identify systemic root causes of product problems, and recommend actions to prevent problem reoccurrence. Lead the Analytical Modeling and Test Integration/Optimization process to compare analytical and experimental results, resolve differences to maintain calibrated analytical models, and generate experimental testing plans that deliver optimal analysis and test coverage. Use Systems Requirements Engineering tools and methods to translate stakeholder needs into verifiable requirements to which designs are developed. Establish acceptance criteria for the system of interest through analysis, allocation, and negotiation. Track the status of requirements throughout the system lifecycle, assess the impact of changes to system requirements on project scope and schedule, and create and maintain information linkages. Identify and analyze the interfaces and interactions across system boundaries by specifying the requirements and limits to ensure that the product meets requirements. Control the interactions across the system element boundaries by making sure they remain within specified limits as part of Product Interface Management. Integrate system elements by creating an integration plan, including identification of method and timing for each activity to make it easier to find, isolate, diagnose, and correct..
