What You Will Do:
YORK® Airside Technical Services (ATS) from Johnson Controls, helps clients respond to their building efficiency needs by supporting their industrial and commercial airside units (AHU) at various locations across the globe.
We would like you to provide technical support to the Field Sales & Service organization for Custom and Semi-Custom AHUs in a consistent manner across all product offerings.
How You Will Do It:
Provide day-to-day technical support for BE products for Field Sales and Service organization on a global basis via phone, Teams meeting or email
Accountable to assist with technical service bulletins, service letters, and updates to the Solutions Database that meets and or exceeds internal and external customer expectations
Accountable to assist in changes and additions to product service literature
Accountable to assist with warranty claims with Warranty Admin in the coding and approval processes
Accountable to assist and advise Quality Managers on Field Warranty issues via daily day to day team meetings, ECN, BPR and Claim Review meetings
Drive product reliability through the Continuous Improvement Process for both existing products and new products being introduced. Product Technical Support Specialist provides technical support and interacts with quality, product management and engineering to improve overall life cycle cost
Must be proficient in troubleshooting HVAC systems like airflow, electrical and mechanical
Accountable in working on Salesforce claims that come in via phone or email
Adheres to the Company's Code of Conduct and Business Ethics Standards
Must adhere to all safety and personal protection requirements
What We Look For:
Required
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or a related Technical/Scientific field required and a minimum of six (6) years' experience OR ten (10) years of technical experience with a knowledge of HVAC&R products
Experience analyzing and solving sophisticated product system problems
Proficiency in Microsoft Suite Applications (Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint) as well as Internet software and E-mail
