Description:
Seeking a PCBA Product Test Engineer to support PCBA and product test equipment for their Energy Management Business Unit – Digital Energy Division.
This role involves developing and deploying test strategies to meet project objectives in terms of cost, quality, and timeline.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure compliance with DFM, DFA, and DFT guidelines early in the product development process.
- Develop test and equipment specifications, qualification plans, and manage test equipment development schedules.
- Oversee prototype and pilot runs at contract manufacturers, as well as the design and deployment of test equipment.
- Estimate resources and expenses for test development and maintain technical documentation.
- Participate in troubleshooting manufacturing and quality issues.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's in electrical engineering with 10+ years of experience in electronics manufacturing.
- 3-5+ years** in new product development.
- Experience with PCB assembly, test strategies for electrical/electronic products, industrial control systems, and communication protocols (RS232, Ethernet, etc.).
- Knowledge of LabVIEW, TestStand, CAD software (AutoCAD), and in-circuit testing (Teradyne, Agilent).
- Familiarity with UL61010-1, NFPA 79, National Electric Code, and electrical safety standards.
