About the Role
We're looking for a Product Testing Assistant to join our Product Development team in Irvine, CA. In this hands-on role, you'll be instrumental in ensuring our products meet the highest standards. From hardware and software testing to collaborating on product documentation and project management, you'll play a key part in shaping products that stand out in the market.
Responsibilities
- Perform hardware and software testing according to established procedures, identify issues, and report findings to the team.
- Conduct research on new products, verifying details like model numbers and specifications, and maintain accurate backend database records.
- Assist in creating and maintaining detailed product documentation related to testing procedures, specifications, and results.
- Support the management of ongoing testing projects by tracking progress, updating timelines, and coordinating with cross-functional teams to ensure deadlines are met.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; coursework in technology, engineering, or computer science is a plus.
- Basic understanding of hardware and software components, with the ability to follow technical procedures.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to document test results accurately.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Organizational skills to handle multiple tasks and maintain accurate records.
Recommended Qualifications
- Prior experience in product testing, quality assurance, or related fields.
- Familiarity with operating systems (Windows or macOS) and software applications.
- Knowledge of project management tools like Jira, Trello, or Asana.
- Experience contributing to technical product documentation.
- Problem-solving skills to identify and resolve testing issues efficiently.
