Product Validation and Test Development Engineer

Essential Functions / Key Responsibilities
* Participate in coherent optical subsystems test set development
* Design and develop manufacturing test solutions
* Define and configure required test instrumentation hardware
* Partner with product team in developing test solutions
* Develop and support automated manufacturing test infrastructure
* Cross-functional collaboration with SW, FW and HW teams aimed at delivering high-quality products with aggressive timelines.
* Create innovative approaches to testing and methodologies to maximize efficient use of test resources (hardware and test staff)
* Help drive end to end test yield improvements and test time reduction efforts
* Develop and maintain software applications built on the .NET framework
Education / Experience
* BS or MS degree in science or engineering
* Previous experience in developing test and measurement solutions for electrical and optical components or subsystems is beneficial
Knowledge / Skills / Abilities
* Proficiency in .NET framework and VB or C# programming language, including object-oriented programming concepts
* Programming well-designed efficient software
* Strong foundation in database concepts and experience working with databases like SQL Server
* Language Integrated Query
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Able to analyze complex problems and develop effective solutions
* Software debugging
* Attention to detail
* Knowledge of Agile Development Methodologies. Experience with DevOps tools and Git

The list of applicable countries in Country Group D:1, E:1 or E:2 may be updated by the U.S. government from time to time. The current processing time for an export control license is approximately 4 to 6 months.
