Job Summary: The Product Validation Engineer (EVT, DVT, PVT) will conceive, execute, and interpret design validation and engineering verification testing programs for the lifecycle of Anello's ingredient and product portfolio. We are looking for someone with the technical ability to deeply understand the architectures, and the leadership to partner with our engineering development teams with identified issues and recommended solutions. As a key member of the team, you will engage across both software and hardware engineering to work on the real-time validation challenges outstanding to the company's product development efforts. Responsibilities:
  • Develop validation plans based upon ingredient and product requirements, as informed by relevant industry standards
  • Design overall test plans, identifying key performance indicators and required optical and electrical test methodologies
  • Work with local labs and 3 rd party service providers to execute stress and environmental tests
  • Analyze results in conjunction with failure mode and effects analysis and comprehensive statistical analysis
  • Evaluate design robustness, draw technical conclusions, and make appropriate recommendations to address issues of product conformance to design intent and specification
  • Extensively document test plans, results, and recommendations for internal and external communication
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's or advanced degree in Electrical Engineering, Optical Engineering, Physics, or other engineering field
  • 5+ years of industry relevant experience in microelectronic / optical product design and validation spanning from component to module level assemblies
  • In-depth hands-on experience performing bench-level testing and characterization of optical and electronic devices across corner use cases
  • Working knowledge of statistical process control, statistical analysis, and FMEA
  • Knowledge of ingredient-level and product-level robustness / reliability stress test requirements
  • Technical competence in the area of automotive and military systems qualification standards
  • Expert in problem-solving, diagnosing, troubleshooting, and providing a solution
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and innovation-driven environment
Additional Desired Skills:
  • Experience in autonomous navigation applications
  • Proficiency with scripting and tools development as instrumental for testing and data analysis
  • Background in Inertial Measurement Units
  • Background in Silicon Photonics
