A working knowledge of P2 Merrick software is preferred, but not required. QualificationsJOB REQUIREMENTS: Responsibilities:
  • Support field personnel in managing the production data. Work with field operators to ensure production data integrity.
  • Collect and reconcile all run tickets and meter data against purchaser statements.
  • Prepare preliminary allocations for purchasers.
  • Process allocations and check for accuracy for production reporting.
  • Assemble statements and supporting documents for reporting.
  • Prepare and submit production reports to state & federal regulatory agencies.
  • Document allocations and regulatory reporting for complete audit trail.
  • Produce and distribute weekly/monthly reports to partners, mineral owners, internal groups.
  • Coordinate with internal regulatory department for permitting purposes.
  • Prepare SWD (salt water disposal) JIB spreadsheet for accounting.
  • Miscellaneous reporting possibly including UIC-10's, DT1's, W-10's/G-10's, R3's, P8's, P4's/R4's.
  • Stay abreast of current regulatory changes and implement any changes into our processes.
  • Participate in production related projects that involve third parties, state and federal regulatory agencies for data requests, audits and litigation.
  • Assist with scanning, copying and filing as needed.
  • Perform other job-related duties and special projects as needed.
Education and Experience:
  • Associate Degree in Accounting, Business or related field.
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision and maintain a good working relationship with colleagues, internal departments, outside operators, field personnel and outside regulatory agencies (state and federal).
  • Excellent oral and written communication, organization and analytical skills.
  • Ability to meet state, federal and corporate deadlines.
  • Willingness to learn new applications and develop competence in any software that is required for the position, including changes to systems used by other operators & agencies.
  • Detail-oriented and self-motivated personality with a sense of urgency.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
  • Training will be provided to develop competence in software.
Qualifications
  • Prior experience in the Oil & Gas industry is a plus
  • Experience with P2 Merrick production accounting system preferred, but not required.
  • Database skills (SQL query building) is a plus.
