Org Marketing Statement Position Summary Production Assembler II (Electrical)The Electrical Assembler II, under moderate guidance, will perform processes to manufacture a finished product, using small hand tools and soldering skills per manufacturing instructions in the cell, in accordance with company policy and safety procedures. May assist in training Assembler I associates. o Performs a variety of routine mechanical and/or electromechanical assembly operations in accordance with company instructions and procedureso Conducts inspections of own and /or other associates work to insure correctness in accordance with company and /or customer drawingo Prepares lead wires,o Performs advanced test functions.o Shapes, connects and installs coils, solder, braze and fuse connections.o Performs advanced installation,o Performs marking and cleaning process,o May solder and assemble, electro-mechanical or mechanical assemblies/subassemblies using blueprints, wiring diagrams and manufacturing instructions to conform to quality specificationso May solder connections and electronic components to circuit boardso May use coating equipment.o May read calipers. o May use microscope.o May use small hand and electric tools.o May clean and mark surfaces to indicate measurements.o Ability to be trained to use simple machines such as lathes, drill press and balance machines. o Actively demonstrates all safety policies and procedures o Solderingo Inspectiono Mechanical Assemblyo Bonding or Gluingo Basic Testingo Other specialized processes as required by manufacturing outlineso Moderate paperwork requirements such as M.O. preparation.o Test reports, filling out and maintaining one or more required reporto Performs other assigned duties as required.o This job description identifies the essential functions of the job, but does not necessarily include all the tasks the employee may be asked to perform.Education: A Secondary Certificate/High School Diploma or equivalent certificate (GED) is required.Years' Experience: 2-5 years of relevant experienceRegular, consistent, and punctual attendance is required.
