In this role, the Assembler will be responsible for performing various subassembly operations using a variety of hand and power tools to support valve assembly.****Job Description****

**Essential Responsibilities:**

* Maintain work records

* Recognize process variation, adjusts accordingly to compliant work practices

* Work from complex product drawings, manuals and specifications

* Assemble details on parts using various tools and adhere to Operator Acceptance Procedures (OAP)

* Maintain productivity standards

* Inspect assemblies and identify defects, utilizing precision measuring instruments

* Set-up, operate, adjust and troubleshot all tools and equipment used in assembly process

* Keep the work area clean and free of debris and foreign objects utilizing the 6S process.

* Comply with all safety rules, wear all required PPE, and report any safety concerns and injuries immediately

* Perform other duties as required by the Team Coach.

**Qualifications/Requirements:**

* High School Diploma / GED

* Experience in mechanical and/or electrical assembly

**ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS**

* Ability and willingness to lift 25 lbs.

**Desired Characteristics**

* Solder certification

* 18 months of experience in mechanical / electrical assembly or repair

* Experience with mechanical / electrical measuring tools and equipment

* Ability to read, interpret, and follow assembly blueprints, work instructions, and CMM (manuals), etc.

* Ability to understand and use required systems for customer requirements.

* Ability to follow schematics to aid in troubleshooting

* Ability to recognize problems and resolve in a timely manner

* Proven ability to work without supervision; ability to work independently with some assistance from senior operators

* Ability to set up and operate most test equipment

* Able to document and communicate both written and verbally
