Offering the broadest portfolio of solutions including marine lighting, navigation buoys, marine floats, port entry lighting systems, lighthouse lighting, and monitoring and control systems, we help people transverse the world safely by sea.This role is responsible for assembling and testing production for the aviation industry with focus on maintaining the highest quality, safety and on time-delivery of goods to customers.Duties:* Follow safe work practices and procedures and ensure a safety first culture in every task undertaken.* Prepares to complete each assembly work order specifically according to:*
  • technical work instructions and specifications* CAD drawings and other engineering blueprints* wiring diagrams* standard operations procedure*
  • * proper hand and power tools and PPE* Assist engineering with prototype builds.* Assist engineering with resolving assembly complications.* Discern quality of parts and materials used in production.* Document assemblies by completing production and quality forms.* Test finished products for proper operation.* Upon completion of a work order, transfer the product to Quality Control* Maintain the tools used to create products.* Work with Quality Control on maintenance of calibrated equipment.* Keep a clean and well-maintained workspace.Minimum Positions Requirements:* High School diploma* Prior electromechanical assembly experience* Familiarity with:*
  • Wiring harnesses* Soldering* Drilling* AC & DC currents* Ability to read and carefully follow instructions.* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.* Experience in a production environment.* Experience with SAP a plus.* Ability to lift up to 50 lbs* Good computer skills such as use of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook.How we live our cultureOur culture is at the center of what we do and, more importantly, who we are.
