If you have a high school diploma, technical training, and at least two years of experience in a manufacturing environment, we want to hear from you! Responsibilities:
- Inspect, clean, and assemble aerospace components into final products.
- Perform required testing for product acceptance.
- Read and follow blueprints, specifications, and work instructions.
- Obtain and follow proper work instructions for assigned jobs.
- Fill out necessary documentation for government and customer requirements.
- Inspect products and complete documentation manually or via computer.
- Operate hydraulic test equipment and power hand tools (training provided).
- Maintain a safe working environment and follow all safety procedures.
- Perform frequent heavy lifting and walk throughout the workday.
- Regular attendance and punctuality are required; variable schedules and additional hours may be necessary.
- Other responsibilities as assigned.
Job Specifications:
- Skilled in routine mechanical and/or electromechanical assembly operations.
- Able to operate various hand tools and machinery.
- Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating instructions, policies, and procedures.
- Good manual dexterity for working with small parts.
- Problem-solving skills to address typical issues in the work area.
- Effective oral, written, and interpersonal skills.
Qualifications:
- Education: High School Diploma required. Technical training beyond high school is preferred.
- Certifications: Vocational training, apprenticeships, or equivalent experience in a related field
- Must be able to read and interpret blueprints and product specifications.
- Must possess necessary math skills for discreet part manufacturing.
- Ability to follow written work instructions.
