Job Summary: Nesco Resource is seeking a skilled and motivated Production Assembler to join our client's team in Clifton Park, NY. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical aptitude, experience with rigging and lifting heavy products, and the ability to operate large warehouse equipment. This role requires a high level of computer literacy, excellent communication skills, and the flexibility to work off hours and weekends as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Rig, lift, and move heavy and awkward products safely and efficiently.
- Learn and operate large warehouse equipment, including fork trucks and 5-ton cranes.
- Develop a high level of mechanical aptitude and pursue Atex certification in Distributed Control Systems (DCS).
- Utilize and quickly learn new business applications, with proficiency in Microsoft 365.
- Maintain a customer-focused approach in all tasks and interactions.
- Contribute positively to the team environment, fostering collaboration and cooperation.
- Work flexible hours, including off hours, weekends, and overtime on short notice, to meet business needs.
- Exhibit self-motivation, self-reliance, and strong organizational skills.
Requirements:

- Knowledge of rigging, lifting, and moving heavy products.
- Ability to operate large warehouse equipment (fork trucks, 5-ton cranes).
- Pursuit of Atex certification in DCS is required.

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to reach, climb, sit, reach overhead, stand for long periods, and lift up to 50 lbs.
