Job Description:

Spherion has partnered with a cutting edge manufacturing plant looking for their next Production Assembler. This is a first shift position with great hours and overtime potential.Responsibilities:Assemble electrical or electronic systems or support structures and install components, units, subassemblies, wiring, or assembly casings, using rivets, bolts, soldering or micro-welding equipment.Read and interpret drawings, diagrams, blueprints, specifications, work orders, or reportsClean parts thoroughly.Review work activities with supervisors.Inspect wiring installations, assemblies, and circuits.Pack finished products for shipment.Tag components.Adjust or repair electronic equipment.Correct defects.Test product to ensure conformance to specifications.Populate or modify/replace components on printed circuit board assemblies.Test functional performance.Working hours: 7:30 AM - 4:00 PMSkills:Working knowledge of PC and Microsoft Windows environment and common office applications.Must have color vision sufficient to identify wire colors used in productsUnderstanding of and basic ability to use common electronic and hand tools.Strong communications, time management and organizational skills.Qualifications:High school diploma or equivalency and 2+ years of experience in a production-related industry preferred.Don't miss out on this great opportunity to work for a thriving team!Spherion has helped thousands of people just like you find work happiness!
