Position Description: Responsible for performing repetitive bench or line assembly operations to produce medical device products, for primarily the Dental industry, such as air compressors and vacuums with limited supervision.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities: - Produce complicated components needed, subassemblies, and final assemblies in related area to blueprint and work instructions.
- Work under the direction of supervisors, or more experienced personnel, with minimal supervision.
- Setup and operate all equipment and tools in related area to produce product to specification requirements.
- Must follow all environmental policies and procedures when working with chemicals and substances.
- Must follow all safety procedures and wear required P.P.E. at all times.
- Maintain high quality and production standards and keep records accurately.
- Assist lower classification personnel and be willing to cross train as needed.
- Understand and use measuring equipment.
- Setup and operate necessary equipment in related area.
- Complete all necessary paperwork and records required.
- Produce and measure product to insure compliance to engineering drawings and work instruction specifications.
- Maintain clean, neat, and safe work area.
- Assists with the training of co-workers.
- Maintain a clean, neat, and healthy work environment.
- Work safely following all safety procedures.
- Willing to work overtime as required.
- Performs other duties, as assigned

- Capability to communicate clearly both written and verbally.
- Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs on a consistent basis.
- Ability to maintain an organized and neat work area.
Work Experience Requirements: - 2-3 years of experience as an Electro-mechanical assembler in a dental, medical or military equipment company preferred.
- Knowledge and use of basic assembly hand tools i.e. screw drivers, wrenches, drills, etc.
Education Requirements: - High School Diploma or equivalent required or related experience.
Salary: $16.00- $18.00 per hour Please note that the actual compensation may vary from posting based on geographic location, work experience, education and/or skill level.
