Are you detail-oriented with a knack for quality and efficiency? MeriCal is seeking a dedicated Production Assembler to join our dynamic team. This role is crucial in ensuring that our packaging components meet the highest standards of quality and are efficiently packed into shipping cartons, PICs (Personal Individual Cartons), or displays according to customer requirements and MeriCal's Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and cGMPs.

About the Role:

As a Production Assembler, you will be responsible for packaging components into shipping cartons, PICs, or displays as required by the customer and MeriCal's SOPs and cGMPs. Your role is essential in maintaining the quality and efficiency of our production lines.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Keep up with the lines, packing quality products while the machine is running with minimal downtime.
  • Produce enough PICs and shippers on the line to maximize production.
  • Use good hand-eye coordination to hot glue PICs.
  • Efficiently make shippers, PICs, or other assemblies necessary to support Production.
  • Assist other employees on the line to maximize production as assigned by the supervisor.
  • Show flexibility to work on other lines or special projects as assigned by the supervisor.
  • Maintain awareness of the workstation to avoid any potential trip or fall hazards.
  • Assist in production wherever needed and as assigned by the supervisor.
About You:

You are a proactive and efficient worker with a keen eye for quality. You thrive in a fast-paced environment and are committed to contributing to the team's success.

Qualifications:
  • Able to read, write, and speak basic English to ensure correct product packing per specifications and proper execution of directions.
  • Possess basic mathematics skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division).
  • Ability to lift up to 35 lbs. and stand for the entire 8-12 hour shift.
  • Familiarity with a Production environment or Packaging experience is a plus.
Education Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
