Job Type Full-timeDescriptionThe Production Assembly Technician reports to the Team Leader and assembles parts into finished commercial foodservice equipment. Summary Read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications to determine material, tools, and equipment neededCorrect use of handheld tools, pneumatic tools, and assembly fixturesRead and interpret wiring diagrams to wire electrical componentsUse various measuring, locating, and testing toolsMaximize throughput while minimizing scrap and material lossesPerform quality checks and appearance checks of material and finished goodsWilling to cross-train in other assembly areas when necessary to meet changing customer demandFollow all safety procedures, support a culture of a safe and healthy workplaceMaintain proper housekeeping of work centerRequirementsJob Requirements High school diploma or equivalent experienceProficient reading and interpreting engineering drawings, specifications, assembly instructions, and bills of materialExcellent communication skillsAble to work with others in a team environmentAble to lift 50LB, bend, stoop, twist, walk, and stand for extended periods Additional information Starting Rate of $17.05/hr Benefits beginning 1st of the month following first 30 days.About Middleby The Middleby Corporation (NASDAQ:MIDD) is the largest global manufacturer of commercial cooking equipment.
