At Kawasaki Precision Machinery, we offer this and so much more.Kawasaki Precision Machinery, (U.S.A.), Inc., headquartered in Grand Rapids, MI and a division of Kawasaki Heavy Industries, Ltd., has an immediate opening for a mechanically included and detail oriented Production & Assembly Technician.As a Production & Assembly Technician, this position is responsible for production duties including, but not limited to, disassembly, cleaning and remanufacturing, light assembly, repair, conversion, painting, and packaging all with a strong emphasis on safety and accuracy.Responsibilities:* Disassembly and parts inspection of hydraulic pumps, motors & valves.* Remanufacture or repair of hydraulic pumps, motors and valves and individual components and parts.* Assembly of hydraulic pumps, motors and valves.* Painting of pumps and motors to meet customer specifications.* Building skids and packaging products to ensure safe shipment.* Works with supervisor in scheduling all labor to meet customer satisfaction.* Continuously review processes to ensure operations are measurable.* Implementation of ISO, and 5S procedures.* Maintain a safe, clean, and well-organized work area.* Pump conversions.Education & Experience:* Experience in a mechanical / assembly environment.* Experience with machinery, tools and manufacturing equipment.* Hilo Certification* Lift and/or move up to 50 pounds* Close vision, distance vision, color vision and ability to adjust focus.What We Offer:Your health and wellness are important to you - and to us.
