Job Description POSITION TITLE: Production Assistant - Men's Knit & Fleece Tops POSITION SUMMARY: Provide support in the development & production of new styles from concept to production via interaction with internal and external cross functional partners. RESPONSIBILITIES : Interface with Design and Fabric team partners to monitor fabric, trim and wash development; owns approval process Track and access weekly factory production status reports/ approval status report and assess delivery risk as needed Communicate daily with internal/ external partners regarding style development, production and delivery information Adhere to the TNA calendar; responsible for all sample tracking and to ensure on-time delivery of all development Sends out PDM and packages to vendors, tracks delivery Maintain and organize costing records Maintain and organize style information records Own end to end purchase order process with merchants and MOS Partners with manager on garment cost, quantity, production planning, sourcing and delivery Interpret collected information, react appropriately, and communicate with affected parties in a timely manner Prepares and communicates the agenda for cross functional team meetings; attends and participates in meetings Perform other duties as required Able to work in a hybrid environment, meaning that some work may be performed remotely but certain essential functions must be performed in-person/in-office based on the needs of the business. In person/in-office collaboration is required, the frequency of such in-person/in-office collaboration (e.g., portion of week, entire week) is dictated by business needs. Such collaboration includes work centralized around product development, milestone meetings, approvals, etc. QUALIFICATIONS : Bachelor's degree in Fashion Merchandising, Business, or equivalent At least 1 year of related work experience; Knits experience is a plus Previous experience working for AE or Aerie is a plus; PLM experience required Ability to act as liaison between many departments: excellent communication and analytic skills. Must be detail oriented, computer literate and able to handle multiple tasks at once. Must be knowledgeable of Google documents & Gmail, Excel, and PLM (or equivalent program) Comfortable working in an hybrid environment - working in office several days a week (based on the needs of the business or big milestone week) with occasional remote work from home PAY/BENEFITS INFORMATION: Actual starting pay is determined by various factors, including but not limited to relevant experience and location.
