JOB SCOPEThis position reports to the Shift Manager and is responsible for formulating and mixing flour-based food products. When necessary to sustain operations or perform other duties in the Blending operation.QUALIFICATIONS:1. High school diploma (or G.E.D. equivalency) is required; Experience or additional training in food manufacturing settings are highly preferred. 2. Experience in batch processing in a food processing environment3. Experience with blending machinery including computerized weight scales, and electrically operated conveyors and packaging equipment4. Must be able to lift up to 50lbs. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

Cross trains within multiple positions throughout the blending mill. Covers those positions during breaks and absences, or as assigned otherwise, to prevent any delays or inefficiencies in the operation.

Ensures blended mixes are accomplished within Company and federal and state regulatory/inspection agency guidelines; mill cleanliness is maintained in an inspection-ready condition.

Ability to initiate action to prevent the occurrence of nonconformities related to improper packaging and labeling.

Carries out assignments in accordance with Company sanitation schedules and work instructions. Maintains and uses chemicals in accordance with Company policies.

Efficiently issues and rotates assigned raw materials, in accordance with stock rotation procedures, and such that Company operational goals are achieved.

Follows safety precautions; uses prescribed safety equipment; operates equipment in a safe manner.

Protects Company property (including formulae) and ensures in-place security necessary to prevent loss from abuse, carelessness, or theft.

PERFORMANCE STANDARDS

Emphasizes high quality standards: repeat order records indicate a high degree of customer satisfaction; blending errors (waste) are minimized (and eventually eliminated); strives for constant improvement in the quality of Company products and speed of operations.

Contributes to operational efficiency; ensures that company operational goals are met.

Uses good safety techniques; achieves and sustains a good safety record.

Production schedules are not hampered by faulty machinery or poor housekeeping; a continuing adherence to inspection requirements is sustained and machinery and equipment are maintained in first class condition; there is evidence of preventive maintenance and work areas are free from clutter.

Increases understanding of blending machinery; demonstrates proper care and use of machinery and tools; Company property is protected: ensures security necessary to prevent loss from abuse, carelessness, or theft.

Supports a work environment where working with co-workers with divergent views are welcomed and solicited; appreciates and supports the operating philosophy of the Company.

Uses good manufacturing practices (GMP)

Supports the operating philosophy of the Company including its policies and procedures; sustains a strong work ethic and caring attitude is punctual, dependable, cooperative, and responsible; works well without undue supervision; assists in self-development and in the training of others when asked.

1st Shift 06:00 AM - 2:30 PM2nd Shift 2 :30 PM - 10:30 PM40 Hours, overtime will be required as needed
