Description Position at Hood Lumber
Responsibilities: - Use an assortment of hand tools to complete daily clean-up duties, such as air hoses, shovels, etc.
- Operate a Forklift, Bobcat, 980 Front End Loader, and Knuckle Boom.
- Must be able to follow written and oral instructions.
- Follow proper lockout procedures.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Education and Experience:- High school diploma/GED preferred.
- Ability to understand, clearly communicate, and follow all safety rules and policies.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Ability to make decisions quickly utilizing hand, eye, and foot coordination.
- Able to work nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime as required.
Physical Requirements: - Performs tasks such as walking, climbing steps/ladders, sitting, and standing for long periods.
- Able to bend, stoop, stretch, twist, or reach with body, arms, and/or legs.
- Ability to work outside in all conditions, in and around loud equipment.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. throughout the work shift.
