Production Associate

Our client, is looking for a Production Associate to handle raw materials, transport from storage to dispenser room, weigh raw materials as required per the batch requirements and add to required dump station/mixer. Production operators conduct inspection and reconciliation of batch labels for premixes, fill silos, complete final packaging activities, sample per batch requirement,Candidates are located within 25 miles of the Ames site

Job Title: Production Operator

Location: Ames, Iowa

Pay Range: $19.50

What's the Job?

• Dump bags of vitamins and minerals into hopper.
• Conduct batch label printing and label reconciliation activities for each batch.
• Performs receiving, shipping and warehouse duties as assigned by Plant Manager
• Operate a forklift

What's Needed?

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Must be able to read, write and perform simple math calculations
• Minimum 6-month related experience preferred
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs repetitively and stand for the full shift
• Live within 25 miles of Ames
