Job Description:
Job Title: Production AssociateJob Overview: The Production Associate is responsible for assembling, filling, packaging, and palletizing Athena products per the daily production schedule. This position reports to the Production Supervisor.Job Description and Responsibilities:The job duties include, but are not limited to:
  • Operates filling and packaging machinery to fill, cap, seal, label, and package Athena products.
  • Builds, wraps, and secures Athena products to pallets.
  • Prints and labels packages and pallets.
  • Operates machinery, production, and assembly line equipment safely.
  • Operates forklifts and pallet jacks safely.
  • Regularly cleaning and maintenance to machinery and production floor.
  • Follows all quality control (QC) requirements.
  • Understand ISO 9001:2015 requirements and get trained on AOPs (Athena Operating Procedures) relevant to your work area and adhere to the AOP requirements while executing your daily tasks.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records (Checklists, data logging, etc.) as required. Flag any quality issues to the immediate Manager.
  • Logs work order data in the WMS and related spreadsheets.
  • Uses an RF scanner to build and report work orders.
  • Maintains a clean, organized, and hazard-free workstation.
  • Follows health and safety standards and protocols.
  • Carries out general warehouse and production tasks on time.
  • Performs other tasks as assigned.
Skills and Qualifications:
  • High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • 2+ years of warehouse or manufacturing experience.
  • 1+ years of experience operating forklifts. Certification preferred.
  • Must be mechanically inclined.
  • Must be willing to learn and open to cross-training.
  • Ability to perform basic arithmetic operations (e.g., add, subtract, multiply, divide).
  • Knows how to use warehouse equipment (e.g., manual, and electric power tools, conveyors., stretch wraps, PPE, power tools, and others).
  • Experience with ERP and WMS (RF Scanning software).
  • Proficient in processing and spreadsheet software.
  • Must be able to pass a comprehensive background check and drug test.
  • Must have reliable means of transportation for daily work commute.
  • Must have a valid U.S. Driver's License.

Work Environment:
  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Prolonged periods standing at the production line, heavy lifting, and/or sitting on forklifts.
  • Ability to perform the following physical tasks: sitting, standing, stooping, stretching, walking, bending, twisting, reaching, performing repetitive motions, climbing stairs and ladders, and carrying boxes.
  • Must be able to lift 75lbs at a time.
