Our client, a leader in the food production industry, is seeking a Production Associate to join their team. As a Production Associate, you will be part of the Production department supporting the overall operations. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, effective communicationabilities, and a team-oriented mindset which will align successfully in the organization.**Job Title:** Packer**Location: Wenona, IL****Pay Range: $17.70 per hour****What's the Job?**+ Receive the finished product from Over Operations or Fugi Machine Operators.+ Count, inspect, and pack the correct number of finished products into the approved trays or conveyor slots for shipping.+ Rotate positions with other packing staff as directed.+ Maintain a clean work area and assist with sanitation as needed.+ Follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and the Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point (HACCP) program.**What's Needed?**+ Must be knowledgeable in GMPs and HACCP.+ Good verbal communication skills.+ Ability to read and write in English to understand instructions and safety manuals.+ Ability to lift 40 lbs. unassisted and stand or walk 90% of the time scheduled.+ Flexibility and adaptability to accept various job assignments as needed.**What's in it for me?**+ Opportunity to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.+ Gain valuable experience in the food production industry.+ Be part of a supportive team that values collaboration and communication.+ Develop skills in quality control and production processes.+ Contribute to the success of a well-established company.If this is a role that interests you and you'd like to learn more, click apply now and a recruiter will be in touch with you to discuss this great opportunity.
