Many examples of career development available.Position Overview: The Production Associate will help the production crew with the forging of steel billets into finished parts for the Heavy Equipment/Construction industries. Will work in a 4 person team to prep molds, heat material, cut to size, and forge using one of the 7 massive machines. This position requires the ability to work in a very hot, dirty, and physically demanding environment. The role is incredibly safety conscious, with a 20 minute break given every 2 hours.Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare forging press for job
- Move material, in-process, and finished parts using tow motor or crane
- Spray molds with lubricant between cycles
- Remove excess material using hand/air powered tools
- Palletize product and move to shipping
Requirements:
- Must be able to pass a drug test, no exceptions
- Ability to lift 50 lbs or more regularly
- Ability to work in a hot/dirty environment
- Prior Manufacturing experience highly preferred
- Lift equipment, such as forklift/OH crane highly preferred
