Successful candidates enjoy working in a fast-paced, physically demanding, and repetitive work environment, which includes heavy lifting or working with your hands. This job description is reflective of tasks that will be performed in a variety of departments.Operation of various hand tools to manually construct window unitsLift windows onto build tables and roller racksMovement of carts in and out of production work areaLoading window sash components for processing insulated glass unitsAssembly of vinyl grids for placement within insulated glass unitOffloading insulated glass units to cartsFinal loading of window units into trucksUtilize production reports to assist in production planningEnsures overall quality of work produced by performing quality audits and engaging in problem solving activities to resolve issues of concernQualificationsAbility to measure lengths accuratelyAbility to lift 50 pounds on a continual basis above shoulder height and below the waistAbility to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimalsAble to convert fractions to decimalsAbility to read and interpret common statistical data, productivity reports, and written instructionsCapable of using computerized equipmentWill require standing, walking and working on concrete surfaces for long periods of timeAbility to move carts in and out of production areasA high school diploma or GED preferredAdditional InformationSite Address: 5001 D Street NW Auburn, WA, 98001Shoe Voucher/ReimbursementBenefits Start on Day OneWhy work for Cornerstone Building Brands?Our teams are at the heart of our purpose to positively contribute to the communities where we live, work and play.
