  • Performs a variety of ERP functions including but not limited to using a scanner, tablet and PC to consume output and reclass ingredients and finished product.
  • Documents production records accurately and efficiently as needed and required for assigned production area(s) of focus.
  • Able to follow written and verbal instructions.
  • Has a solid grasp of basic math and can demonstrate an understanding through testing proficiency.
  • Has a passion for numbers, analysis and problem solving.
  • Understands the position of production analyst is about taking action based on actual data being collected during/throughout a shift.
  • Proactively responds to information by involving others as needed including escalating problems to management, enforcing company standards/policies as assigned and required of the position.
  • Performs equipment documentation as needed including but not limited to logging steam pressure, liquid nitrogen levels, machine speeds and cook times.
  • Is capable of verifying staffing levels, head count, staff attendance, time clock adherence, shifting of labor from one processing area to another.
  • Follows company programs by filling out the prescribed forms as well as adhering to any changes in forms or protocols.
  • Verifies ingredient weights and types used during production for assigned areas, lines and formulas according to the production schedule and to ensure orders are filled at 100%.
  • Reports to work and takes breaks on time and as scheduled, in full uniform and in compliance with plant GMP's and other regulatory standards.
  • Additional responsibilities as required and deemed necessary by management.
QualificationsMinimum Qualification Requirements
  • High School Diploma required.
  • Must have previous experience working with an ERP system.
  • Is capable of understanding/assimilating production formulas including cut sizes, weights, product descriptions, cook times, agitation speeds, packaging speeds, etc.
  • Solid understanding of business math including multiplication, division, subtraction, addition, ratios, percentages, elapsed time, throughput calculations, yield loss/gain, etc.
  • One year in document control, business analysis or process improvement preferred.
  • Must be fluent in English (written and oral). Fluency in Spanish is a plus.
  • Must demonstrate basic computer proficiency with experience in MS excel and Word preferred.
Physical Demands & Work Environment:Frequently required to stand; walk; use of hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop; kneel; crouch or crawl; and to talk; or hear-ability to lift and move more than 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, and color and depth vision. They are frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts, fumes, or airborne particles and electrical shock or vibration risks. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to occasionally loud.
