Are you ready to go beyond?Job Summary: The Production Control position is responsible for tracking parts to include the identification of any part shortages by engine to ensure that the production schedule is met.This is a 1st Shift position: Monday – Thursday 5 am – 3:30 pmEmployees must remain in their role for 12 months before posting to a new position.What You Will Do:Coordinate the parts tracking process on the shop floorReconcile parts, and coordinate part Swaps/Exchanges or material store backAssist with coordinating the routing of parts to outside vendor and to internal repair.Assist with PBOM reconciliation to ensure that all part requirements identified at the close of Gate I are recordedPromote and participate in CORE activitiesSwap/exchange material as requiredWork closely with the Buyer/Planners on a daily basisParticipate in material review meetingsWork within groups to ensure that all parts have been kitted successfully to kit carts before rolling into buildDemonstrate a commitment to EH&S by meeting all training requirements, participating in committee assignments and performing audits as requiredQualifications You Must Have (< 5 bullets):HS Diploma or GED equivalent2+ years' experience in warehouse or production control environment and/or materials management organization.U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.Qualifications We Value (< 5 bullets):College or technical trainingTurbine engine overhaul, inspection and repair experience, precision measuring tool usage, preferred in one or more of the following disciplines: Disassembly, Inspection, Assembly.Experience using Microsoft Office and SAPWhat We Offer:Medical, dental, vision and life insuranceShort-term disability, long-term disability and parental leave401(k) matchFlexible spending accountsEmployee assistance programEmployee Scholar Program (No waiting period!)Paid time off including: 3 weeks of vacation, 5 personal sick days, 3 unpaid days for unique situations at supervisor discretion, and 12 paid government holidays throughout the year inclusive of holiday shutdown for the week between Christmas and New Year.What is my role type?In addition to transforming the future of flight, we are also transforming how and where we work.
