Job Description:

• This position manages all team members in the department and is responsible for the performance management and hiring of the department.

• Plan and manage production schedules to ensure on-time delivery of customer orders.

• Assist in minimizing interruptions to production schedules through effective parts and materials procurement practices.

• Manage plant work schedules to recover from unplanned production down time.

• Assist in the management of inventory levels including establishing goals, rotating stock, managing purchase and supply base, and developing methods and procedures.

• Maintain effective communication with various groups such as customers, business development, etc., to ensure on-time delivery of products and team support.

• Assist in planning the operating budget for all areas of accountability.

• Assist in the training of the Order and Logistics team as required to enhance the team's performance skills presently and in the future.

• Provide leadership and training to accomplish the company's goals and objectives.

• Regular attendance is required.

Other Duties:

Must be flexible to work in all areas and in your department regardless of duties listed above in order to accomplish goals and objectives.

Preferred Qualifications, Education, and Experience:

• Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Logistics and Supply Chain Management, or related area or equivalent experience.

• 5-10 years minimum Production Control Management experience in the automotive industry with a demonstrated track-record of success is preferred.

• Experience with ERP software, experience with Plex is preferred.

• Proficient personal computer and system software skills.

• Attention to detail, ability to work independently with minimal supervision, and adapt to changes in priorities and direction
