Summary:
The Production Coordinator is the logistics leader at our facility. Possessing a thorough understanding of current inventory, depletion forecasting, and all components needed to put wine in a bottle. The Production Coordinator works with the winemaking team to set the bottling schedule, procure dry goods (glass, corks, labels, etc.), maintain accurate inventory of wine in warehouses, arrange shipments of wine and goods inside and outside of the US, and keep professional relationships with all winery suppliers. This position is a logistical hub and requires extraordinary organization, setting priorities, attention to detail, and an ability to self-start.
Duties & Responsibilities:
* Process PO's from numerous sources and ensure correct stock reaches its destination.
* Arrange shipments of cased wine to warehouses and generate export shipments.
* Create processes/procedures and make recommendations to reduce errors, increase efficiency, deliver the highest quality product possible, and minimize waste.
* Organize bottling schedule and prioritize weekly & monthly workflow.
* Participate in weekly production planning meetings.
* Create bottling spec sheet ensuring dry goods standards are clearly communicated to production team and correct items are used on bottling days.
* Order all supplies for bottling wine in time for bottling day.
* Contact suppliers to negotiate prices, spot billing errors, address suppler concerns, and relay supplier suggestions to concerned parties.
* Maintain supplier database with costing and historical data.
* Create and submit COLA's to TTB and WSDA.
Qualifications:
* BA or BS in Logistics, Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Accounting, Business, or similarly related fields.
* Minimum 3 years logistics, accounting, export, procurement, or combination of experience.
* Able to perform basic math, convert from imperial to metric, understanding of and ability to compute rates and ratios.
* Able to read, create formulas, and manipulate spreadsheets in MS Excel.
* Familiar with MS Teams and MS office suite.
* Familiar with inventory management and accounting software.
* Excellent professional written and verbal communication.
* Strong organizational and problem-solving ability.
* Familiarity with TTB wine regulations highly desired.
* Familiarity with wine exports highly desired.
* Interest in wine highly desired.
* Willingness to learn new things and possessing a curious mindset.

Physical Requirements:
* Must be able to occasionally lift and move 40 pound wine cases without assistance.
* Work daily seated or standing for prolonged periods in an office environment.
* Must be able to bend, twist, and reach as needed.
* Occasionally traverse unconditioned warehouses.
