GENERAL PURPOSE Accomplish on-time completions for reliability by planning, coordinating, and controlling priorities/production of parts produced for internal and external customers. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Handle requests from customers and/or Gate Keeper i.e., mock-up, ERPs, cancellations, etc. May coordinate production orders between processes. Assist in resolving manufacturing issues using the problem resolution database. Communicate with engineering when bill errors occur. May generate make-to-order report/other documents required for production. Monitor daily completion reports and communicate issues/shortages/schedule status to appropriate personnel; including ICO status. Work closely with materials, manufacturing, distribution and scheduling. Report scrap as needed. Performs additional responsibilities as requested to achieve business objectives. Education/Experience One of the following is required: (1) High school diploma or its equivalent (GED for example), (2) work experience which demonstrates performance competency 2-5 years of experience in production. Skills and Abilities Must have a working knowledge and fundamental understanding of the MillerKnoll Performance System (MKPS). Demonstrated ability to use office automation software/communication tools used in the MK environment; working knowledge of Mainframe, Baan, Lotus Notes, and other applications. Proven ability to take initiative, see what needs to be done, and work with minimal supervision. Outstanding organizational, interpersonal, and decision-making ability. Proficient mathematical skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Must be able to perform all essential functions of the position with or without accommodation. Who We Hire?
