Summary
The purpose of this position will support the Director, Operations Planning through continuous improvement in the production process by measuring and evaluating every step from customer order through build completion. The Lean Kit/Production Coordinator will work closely with the production team, parts team, and operations management to track and communicate progress on all production builds in the manufacturing facility.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
* Confirm unit details/notes/lane are correct before morning meeting.
* Confirm unit status/location in Truck Locator is correct.
* Note issues on card.
* Flag card Priority - High or Priority - Critical for discussion in morning meeting.
* Create, print, and apply QR labels to chassis linking to corresponding LeanKit card.
* Monitor changes to work orders and correct QR label when necessary.
* Print and maintain job travelers and ensure latest traveler is with unit.
* Export cards in Complete and send list to work order closing team. Tag each card with sent to close after sending list.
* Attach PDF of sales quote to LeanKit card.
* Monitor changes and ensure most up-to-date sales quote is attached to LeanKit card
* Add lift serial number to card description.
Required Skills and Qualifications
* Have a current Driver's License
* Have good and reliable transportation
* Work in a fast-paced industrial environment wearing vision protection, steel-toes shoes/boots and other appropriate protective clothing
* High school diploma or GED at minimum
* CDL Preferred

* Ability and interest in gaining strong personal knowledge of truck and equipment issues and expanding understanding of business.
* Able to work independently with minimum supervision and capable of self-checking for completeness and accuracy of work produced. Demonstrated ability to handle multiple projects and details simultaneously. Requires self-direction, tact, diplomacy and a clear, courteous and professional manner with dealing with the public. Must demonstrate effective oral communication skills and the ability to work cooperatively with staff inside and outside of the Company.
Working Conditions
* Majority of work is performed in an office setting but may require going into the shop area.
* Ability to work around common office equipment, supplies and environments.
* Must be able to work overtime as needed.
* Standard work schedule Monday - Friday
Physical Requirements
* Sitting - The ability to sit or stand for long periods of time while performing duties.
* Lifting - The ability to bend, stoop and lift up to 10 lbs.
