Hours for the 1 2nd shift are:1 st Shift-- 6 AM-2:30 PM
2 nd Shift-- 2:30 PM- 11 PM
Duties & Responsibilities:- Visually inspect all raw materials, detecting any defective or improper material
- Visually inspect lot numbers for traceability, expiration dates and pouch seals
- Report any quality issues, following all standard operating procedures. Be able to communicate findings verbally, in writing or through a translator
- Perform repetitive motions for 8 hours
- Be able to move (push, pull or otherwise manipulate) products weighing up to 50 lbs
- Perform various material handling duties such as moving and lifting material to supply the variety of stations needed for production utilizing pallet jacks rolling carts and hand trucks
- Comply with all quality, safety and work rules and regulations
- Effectively communicate with other members of the staff
- Perform a variety of general housekeeping duties necessary to maintain a clean and orderly work area
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:- High School Diploma or GED preferred
- Manufacturing experience preferred
- Understanding of equipment operation utilized in the packaging operations
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently
