PROCESS ENGINEER - PLASTIC INJECTION MOLDINGPlastic Production ManagerResponsible for process engineering support for the Plastics Division B.S. Engineering, preferably mechanical or industrial.Minimum 5 years plastic injection molding process experience with late model molding machines and robots, preferably Arburgs. Injection mold tooling knowledge.CAD, preferably Solid Works, Power Point, Word, & ExcelJOB DESCRIPTION
  • Develops and optimizes molding machine and robot cycles using experimental molding methods.
  • Assists with machine startups and troubleshooting.
  • Evaluates tooling and makes recommendations for necessary improvements, changes or repairs.
  • Develops robot end of arm tooling for new projects.
  • Provides engineering support for all production activities.
  • Identifies and implements process automation and cost reductions.
  • Provides engineering support for new project development and launch.
  • Develops Standard Operating Instructions and Work Instructions.
  • Assists with development of production standards with the use of time studies.
  • Provides support for resolving product quality issues.
  • Other duties as assigned by management.
  • HOURS AND BENEFITS:Salary: Negotiable.Starting Date: As soon as possibleHours: 8.5-hrs minimum per week day, 7:30 am-4:30 pm, 45 minute lunch from 11:30 until 12:15. Overtime: ExemptHolidays: 9 paid holidays (New Years, Good Friday, Memorial Day, Fourth of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Friday after Thanksgiving and Christmas Eve and Day).Vacation: Initial number of vacation weeks at start of employment is negotiable; thereafter will be according to policy.Profit Sharing/Retirement contribution: Paid in December based on company performance. Eligible on the earliest of January 1st or July 1st, after two years employment.401K: Eligible first pay of the next quarter after hire date. Currently the Company will match 25 cents for each dollar you defer, up to a maximum of 10% of your salary. There is no vesting period; every dollar contributed is vested immediately. The plan and company match are subject to change annually. Hospitalization: Eligible 60-days after date of hire. If currently employed, you will be eligible for Cobra from your previous employer during the 60-days. Under the AP&P plan, employee is responsible for 25% of the Hospitalization Premium which is deducted on a bi-weekly basis. The percentage and dollar amount are subject to change at each annual renewal.Life Insurance: Eligible 90-days after date of hire. Benefit amount is 40% of base salary, and is double indemnity in case of an accident.Long-Term Disability: Eligible after 5 years of employment.
