The Siemens Industry, Inc. in Spartanburg, SC is seeking a Production Group Leader to lead our CAN Assembly team within our Lighting Panels Department. This Group Leader will oversee daily production activities, ensuring efficient operations while maintaining safety, quality, and production standards. This role requires strong leadership to guide and support a team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

You will make impact by doing the following:
RESPONSIBILITIES
* Lead and manage CAN Assembly operations, ensuring production targets are achieved daily.
* Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards, including UL 50 protocols
* Manage SAP transactions for production reporting and material flow tracking
* Provide hands-on support to the team, leading by example with integrity and accountability
* Facilitate problem solving, continuous improvement initiatives, and Lean manufacturing principles
* Ensure proper team development through training and mentoring
* Collaborate with the coordinator and supervisor to address and resolve operational challenges
* Maintain a clean and safe working environment by enforcing 5S and other Lean practices
* Act as a backup for the supervisor when needed.
* Perform other work as directed by Supervision.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
* Knowledge on all operations in the area, material flow and SAP transactions
* Good attendance record (6 or less attendance points)
* Excellent safety and quality knowledge and performance (ZHC, SOAD, Behavior Audits, quality processes, etc.)
* Knowledge of Lighting Panels products and processes.
* Knowledge or ability to learn and maintain robot station running effectively
* Demonstrate multi-tasking skills in a dynamic environment
* Experience in empowering the team to achieve LP goals and objectives
* Must be able to speak, read, write, and comprehend the English language.
* Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize work
* Reach, grasp, lift 50 lbs., and push/pull/slide heavy material and make coordinated movements of the hands and arms to grasp and move objects.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
* Lighting Panel experience and/or Group leader experience is highly preferred.
