Your roleReporting to the Production Maintenance Manager,The Production will maintain current inventory levels and receive newinventory while optimizing inventory for business efficiency. The positionrequires knowledge of purchasing and inventory control while maintaining anenergetic work ethic and demonstrating the ability to adapt to changingpriorities. This position is required to followdetailed work instructions and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's) to performdaily tasks within the Production Maintenance Team. This positionwill work closely with others in a team atmosphere on various projects asassigned. Daily duties will include but are not limited to entering purchaseorders and searching for original equipment manufacturer (OEM's) andindependent parts sources for certified and traceable products at the bestprice. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS / RESPONSIBILITIES:Purchasing/Invoice Administration Review purchase orders to ensure accurate delivery of goods.Address shipping, receiving, payment issues with outside vendors accordingly.Request quotes from vendors.Issue purchase orders main and alternative vendors when necessary to acquire parts. Review, record, and submit invoices to ensure accurate receipt of and payment for goods.InventoryManagementMaintain the accuracy of the inventory management system through our current CMMS system.Receive and distribute inbound deliveries accordingly.Assist in assuring that all items are properly checked out of the stockroom and recorded as necessary.Prepare and participate in physical inventory.Assist in maintaining a neat and orderly environment in the stockroom.Administrative Record KeepingMaintain and adhere to the current budget. Collaborate with finance and leadership to prepare future budgets. Serve as a point of contact to answer internal questions and/or concerns in reference to parts/stockroom.Manage Excel reports to maintain accurate data.Prepare and distribute department information to leadership as needed.Perform other tasks as assigned.Your profileEDUCATION & EXPERIENCE: High School diploma or equivalent.2-4 years relevant work experienceTraining and/or experience as an administrator or other administrative assignment.KNOWLEDGESKILLS & ABILITIES: Exceptional interpersonal and communication skillsExcellent organization & strong written and verbal communication skillsExcellent computer skills demonstrating proficiency in MS Office; Word, Excel, PowerPoint and CMMS programAble to work in a team environment or independently.Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.Ability to prioritize work and complete it in a timely manner.Must be willing to work flexible hours when required to meet operational commitments/needs to include weekends and holidays.Excellent verbal communication and human relation skills.Attention to detail.Excellent administrative skills and perception.SCOPE OF DECISION-MAKING: Decisions require basic/routine analyticaljudgment. Plan and perform diversifiedduties requiring knowledge of a particular field and the use of a wide range ofprocedures. Involves the exercise ofjudgment in the analysis of facts or conditions regarding individual problemsor transactions to determine what action should be taken within the guidelinesor standard practice.LEVEL OF SUPERVISION PROVIDED: Individual contributor, not responsible for the workothers.INTERNAL / EXTERNAL CONTACTS: Regular inside and outside theorganization: Requires regular contactwith subordinates and/or other departments, with occasional contacts withindividuals outside the organization. Also includes jobs with regular customer/client contacts. Individual annual salaries/hourly rates will be set within the job's compensation range, and will be determined by considering factors including, but not limited to, market data, education, experience, qualifications, expertise of the individual, and internal equity considerations.
