Location:WIS-PAK of NORFOLKPosition:Lead Person/ProductionReports To:Production SupervisorDate:08/31/2017JOB SUMMARYThe Production Lead Person oversees all shift employees and complies with all safety, quality, quantity and housekeeping standards. They will assure that all personnel are properly trained and follow all policies and procedures set forth by Wis-Pak.JOB DUTIES/ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS (Note: The job functions relate to the job, not the individual)Lead all personnel and operations during shift.Perform package and product changeovers.Maintain low cost, high quality production practices.Maintains thorough knowledge of all processes and equipment.Follow and enforce all Wis-Pak policies and procedures.Responsible for meeting production, quality, and quantity standards during shift.Daily updates with following shift Lead and Supervisor.Facilitate and aid other departments.Enforce all safety standards.Assure proper PPE use.Follow quality assurance guidelines.Assure proper raw material usage.Monitor all promotional material usage.Maintain strong and frequent communications with employees to help prevent errors.Coding, Recycling, General Housekeeping, and Personal Training.Follow all Food Safety and GMP Policies.JOB DUTIES/MARGINAL FUNCTIONS (Not fundamental job duties)Computer skills.Mechanical skills.QUALIFICATIONSMinimum High School diploma or equivalent.Ability to read, write and solve problems.Have good people skills and team building skills.Communication skills.Must have some Manufacturing/Production background.Comply with all safety rules and regulations.Follow all GMP's (Good Manufacturing Practices)Follow all food safety policies, procedures and regulations.JOB DISCLAIMERThis list of job duties and responsibilities is not intended to be all inclusive and may be expanded to include other duties or responsibilities that management may deem necessary from time to timeWis-Pak is an equal opportunity employer that complies with EEOC rules and regulations.We use E-Verify to confirm the identity and employment eligibility of all new hires.
