We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Production Lead to join our team in the packaging industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing and managing the production of 10 assemblers while ensuring the highest level of quality and compliance with relevant regulations. This is a critical role that requires a strong understanding of safety and warehouse operations.
Duties
- Conduct and lead morning team meetings to disseminate goals and procedures for meeting these goals to ensure timley delivery of products.
- Oversee assembly of production and packaging materials.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including manufacturing, quality assurance, and inventory.
- Use computer to report production results to management as needed.
- Operate heavy machinery, including forklifts, and other equipment as needed.
- Monitor production metrics, including productivity, efficiency, and quality control.
- Identify and implement process improvements to increase production efficiency and reduce costs.
- Maintain accurate records of production, inventory, and quality control.
Requirements
- Proven warehouse experience with proven leadership skills.
- Strong knowledge of safety procedures
- Basic math skills to accurately track production metrics and inventory.
- Mechanical knowledge to operate and maintain production equipment
- Experience with forklift operation and other heavy machinery.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills to manage and coordinate cross-functional teams.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in a relevant field is preferred.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $21.00 per hour
