Production Lead
Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Production Lead to join our team in overseeing operations at our food processing plant. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the food industry and a solid understanding of FDA regulations and food safety standards.
Pay Range: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour
Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate production team activities to ensure efficiency and quality output
- Train new employees on production processes, safety protocols, and quality standards
- Monitor production lines to ensure they are operating effectively and meeting production goals
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment following CGMP, HACCP, and sanitation guidelines
- Oversee packaging, fabrication, and sanitization processes
- Collaborate with management to implement process improvements and optimize production workflows
Qualifications
* 1+ year as a shift lead OR Associates Degree.
- Previous experience in a food processing plant or related industry
- Knowledge of FDA regulations, HACCP, CGMP, and food safety standards
- Ability to operate forklifts or willingness to learn
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide a team
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
Daily attendance to avoid interruption of production.
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications are a plus
