* Assign and delegate job responsibilities, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and accurately.
* Ensure all team members are fully trained in their respective roles and responsibilities.
* Personally communicate expectations to team members and hold them accountable for their performance.
* Address and resolve instances of non-standard work promptly and effectively.
* Foster a culture of continuous improvement within the team, actively engaging and developing employees to enhance productivity and efficiency.
* Identify and address safety concerns to maintain a safe working environment for all employees.
* Investigate and identify root causes for customer complaints, implementing corrective actions as necessary to prevent recurrence.
* Lead by example, promoting a positive workplace culture characterized by teamwork, respect, and professionalism.
* Communicate business updates and directives to the team in a clear and professional manner.
* Report work results, concerns, and improvement ideas to senior management, contributing to overall organizational improvement.
* Provide support and backup to team members and colleagues as needed, fostering a collaborative work environment.
* Perform any other duties as assigned to support the efficient operation of the production department.

* High school diploma or GED required.
* Previous leadership experience preferred.
* Proficiency with SAP, Microsoft Office Excel, and Word.
* Ability to become Green Belt certified.
* Demonstrated ability to lead and train employees effectively.
