Production/Construction Line SupervisorSummary/ObjectiveThe Production Line Supervisor manages team members in the production of modular home building, applying Training Within Industry (TWI) methodologies to optimize processes in areas such as rough framing, roofing, siding, plumbing, electrical, drywall, painting, flooring, trimming, and detail finishing. Job Tasks and Responsibilities
- Reads and follows plans, material lists and guidelines applying TWI Job Instruction techniques to break down complex tasks and ensure consistent, high-quality work.
- Fulfills all regular and advanced installation/construction duties, including project layout, and completes required paperwork on time.
- Organizes, supervises, leads, and trains team members to complete projects within established guidelines and time frames.
- Enforces all company safety policies and procedures.
- Complies with all company policies and procedures and safety requirements, including team member discipline and documentation, using TWI Job Relations to build positive working relationships.
- Ensure effective employee relations. Provide coaching and development. Resolve employee issues through problem resolution.
- Balance quality, productivity, cost, safety, and morale to achieve positive results.
- Work to improve in all areas continuously.
- Assign duties and monitor the progress of a project, keeping it on track to meet deadlines.
- Assist in first aid and completing incident processes.

Work EnvironmentWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts and vibration. The noise level in the work environment can be loud. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 6:00 a.m. to 2:20 p.m. Unless overtime is required.TravelNo travel is expected for this position.Required Education and Experience
- Graduation from high school or GED equivalent
- 5 years of experience in a production/construction environment
Preferred Education and Experience
- Training of new team members
- Experience working in residential home/commercial construction.
- Understand basic Lean principles.
