Flowserve is seeking a Production Machine Operator to join our global team. As a key member of our operations, you will operate and maintain a variety of machines and equipment, ensuring a smooth flow of production. This role requires a high level of organization, the ability to work well in a team environment, and basic computer skills. Responsibilities:
- Operate and maintain machines and equipment
- Use hand tools
- Move materials and parts to and from work areas via power lift trucks and forklifts
- Ensure a smooth flow of production
- Solve production and technological problems
- Follow complex verbal and written instructions
- Comply with established guidelines and procedures
- Adhere to all safety procedures & policy
- Read and follow route sheets/Blueprints
- Train new machine operators
- Stand for long periods, repetitive arm motions, frequent lifting with ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- HS Diploma/GED and/or 1-2 years experience in an industrial, manufacturing, construction, or related environment
- Basic computer skills
- Self-motivated
- High level of organization skills
- Works well in a team environment
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in machining or similar field
- Experience using and interpreting precision measuring instruments
- Forklift certification
