VideosDuties Install, make major mechanical repairs, troubleshoot, makes operational tests and maintains a variety of multi-axis, multi-function installed or semi-fixed numerically controlled production equipment. Troubleshoot equipment symptoms for malfunctions. Examine equipment to determine required repair and materials and parts needed. Perform scheduled preventive and predictive maintenance on industrial plant equipment and machinery. Maintain equipment maintenance and repair records. I have the ability to perform common duties of the Production Machinery Mechanic. I can troubleshoot and perform major mechanical repairs, make operational tests and maintain installed industrial production machinery and non-production machinery. I install, maintain, and repair industrial plant machinery and equipment involving mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic principles of operation. I install new and relocate existing industrial production machinery and nonproductive machinery. I perform rigging work necessary to move, load, unload and install industrial production/non production machinery. I plan and lay out work which requires the study of sketches and blueprints prior to movement. - Failure to meet this Screen Out Element will result in an ineligible rating.
