Job Description:
Our client is targeting a candidate with a strong Mechanical background and working knowledge of gears, belts, drives, hydraulic and pneumatic systems. They have a need for this position in their Weed, CA facility.The Production Maintenance Mechanic primary function is troubleshooting, repairing, and preventative maintenance of plant and production equipment.You will need knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures of troubleshooting and repairing basic hydraulic and pneumatic systems.A successful candidate will be able to perform PM and breakdown maintenance on all major machine centers throughout the plant. The company plans to train this position to a Millwright Journeyman within 6 months.$26 - $30/hour DOE.
