Job Summary: Follows the direction of the Maintenance Supervisor in all tasks related to maintenance repair and other programs, performing duties either personally or through the assistance of other maintenance personnel.
Essential Job Functions:
* Performs routine inspections, consumable parts replacement, reactive and preventative maintenance, component rebuild on all CNC and mechanical production equipment
* Determines parts request requirements and prepares parts work order request forms
* Builds cables and harnesses - tests using Megger tester
* Repairs and replaces gear boxes
* Fixes air and coolant leaks
* Performs non-CNC test table work
* Performs electronic circuit diagnosis
* Monitors for repair or replacement power supplies, door sensors, control devices, limit switches, pressure switches, hydraulic pumps and central motors
* Creates and maintains electronic records of present and past work orders
* Makes turret, spindle, encoder, electrical motor adjustments and belt changes on CNC machines
* Complies with all safety policies, practices, and procedures. Reports all unsafe activities to supervisor and/or a Health Safety and Environmental team member
* Participates in proactive teams to achieve departmental and company goals
* Provides leadership to others through example and sharing of knowledge/skill
* Performs other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
* 3-5 years' experience preferred
* Mechanical experience and/or background preferred
* Working knowledge of PLC ladder logic, inputs/outputs, motor control, position speed, acceleration and torque
* Working knowledge of CNC machines and CNC control experience
* Ability to read, understand and comprehend mechanical blueprints, hydraulic, pneumatic and electric diagrams
* Working knowledge of micrometers, pneumatic, hydraulic, electricity, AC/DC voltage & amp, resistance, multimeter/current meter and lubrication systems
* Ability to identify issues, problem solve and source solutions
* Ability to work in solitary environment and complete tasks on time without supervision
* Intermediate computer skills
* Must have valid driver's license and clean MVR
* Must pass background check and drug screen

Education:
* High School Diploma or equivalent required
* Vocational, (mechanical) or technical training preferred
Work Environment:
* Manufacturing environment - PPE required in specific areas
* Potential proximity to moving mechanical parts, moving vehicles, electrical currents, oils and chemicals
* Potential exposure to fumes, odors, dusts, mists, gases, or poor ventilation
* Extreme temperatures for more than an hour possible
* Consistently elevated noise levels in work area
* Frequently required to work in crawl spaces and shafts
Physical Requirements:
* Repetitive use of hands
* Elevated work, over 4 ft, is probably
* Lifting, pushing, and pulling up to 75 lbs.
