Growing defense contractor and weapons manufacturer located near Bucks County, PA, is seeking a military veteran to serve in a Production Manager role.You will work in a state-of-the-art manufacturing facility dedicated to producing quality products for the U.S. Department of Defense and various U.S. federal law enforcement agencies. As an innovative company offering a wide array of products, we strive to continuously develop new technology and drive process improvement.The Production Manager provides leadership, direction, and coordination of manufacturing and production control across the plant, with safety and quality at the forefront of all activities.Candidates transitioning from active duty are encouraged to apply. The ideal candidate will have operations experience in a manufacturing environment and a background in lean manufacturing concepts. Process improvement, cost savings, and working with cross-functional teams are integral in this role. However, any candidate that has high initiative, high energy, and a genuine desire to learn and grow will go far in this role.This is a Monday through Friday day shift role at the manufacturing site. This position will consult with Senior Leadership and reports to the Senior Manufacturing Manager and there is upward mobility to more senior operations leadership roles.Base salary, $70 - $80K, with a comprehensive benefits package that starts on day one.Nice area of Pennsylvania to live.
