The Production Manager position is responsible for overseeing both the Assembly and Quality Control teams. This position plans and assigns work, implements policies and procedures and recommends improvements in production methods, equipment, operating procedures, and working conditions. The production supervisor is part of the leadership team within Supply Chain and reports directly to the Director of Supply Chain. Daily Responsibilities

  • Accomplishes manufacturing staff results by communicating job expectations; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results; coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees; initiating, coordinating, and enforcing systems, policies, and procedures.
  • Works within our internal systems (NetSuite, Salesforce, etc) to pull reports, analyze data and recommend improvements
  • Attends daily leadership meetings and provides departmental updates
  • Maintains quality service by establishing and enforcing organization standards.
  • Maintains safe and clean work environment by educating and directing personnel on the use of all control points, equipment, and resources; maintaining compliance with established policies and procedures.
  • Resolves personnel problems by analyzing data; investigating issues; identifying solutions; recommending action.
  • Operates within our time card software to approve/edit time cards
  • Leads weekly standup meetings with the entire facility, participates in setting agenda for meetings
  • Maintains workflow by monitoring steps of the process, looks for methods of improvement, tests and implements new processes
  • Initiates and fosters a spirit of cooperation within and between departments.
  • Monitors and tracks employee quotas, maintain statistics page for workforce
  • Conducts employee evaluations and creates corrective action plans
