Role Overview:
They're looking for a dynamic Production Manager to lead T56 turbine component repairs. The ideal candidate has extensive turbine repair knowledge and strong supervisory skills. This hands-on role manages shop workflow, ensuring optimal performance and compliance.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise and manage a small, single-shift, multi-function workforce.
- Ensure all operations comply with established procedures and regulations.
- Efficiently manage work assignments to maintain workflow and prioritize job completion.
- Provide input for employee performance reviews.
- Maintain clear oversight of job progress and completion.
- Offer accurate status updates during weekly production meetings.
- Respond promptly to inquiries from Customer Service.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in Gas Turbine Component MRO.
- 5+ years of supervisory experience in an MRO setting or equivalent.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with T56, T55, or T53 engines.
- FAA Airframe and Power Plant License.
- Current or prior holder of an FAA Repairman Certificate.
Skills:
- Expertise in one or more disciplines: mechanic, welder, grinder, machinist, hand finisher, inspector, assembler, or chemical processor.
- Ability to produce high-quality work and acquire new expertise.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
